Fiem Industries inks MoU for manufacturing of automotive switch assemblies

Fiem Industries has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with two Japanese companies namely, TOYODENSO Co., Japan and Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Japan for a joint-venture (JV) proposal in India for manufacturing of automotive switch assemblies. The management of the company is considering this proposal as a major breakthrough for diversification of the new product line of the company with in automotive segment.

TOYODENSO, established in 1947 in Japan is among major players in switches and has presence through its subsidiaries and affiliates in US, Europe, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan etc. and their major customers are Honda Toyota, Isuzu, Daihatsu, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, Volkswagon and so on. Toyota Tsusho Corporation is a Group Company of Toyota Group, Japan having presence in diverse range of businesses around the world.

Fiem Industries is one of the leading manufacturers of automotive lighting & signaling equipments and rear view mirrors. The company is supplying its products to almost all major OEMs in the domestic market as well as few global OEMs.
