Shreyas Shipping gains on taking delivery of multipurpose vessel

Shreyas Shipping & Logistics is currently trading at Rs. 420.45, up by 1.55 points or 0.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 418.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 420.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 421.00 and Rs. 416.05 respectively. So far 1020 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 434.00 on 07-Sep-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 193.10 on 26-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 434.00 and Rs. 411.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 916.18 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.25%, while institutions and non-institutions held 1.12% and 25.63% respectively.

Shreyas Shipping & Logistics has taken delivery of multipurpose vessel M.V. SSL Sabarimalai. With this acquisition, the total fleet strength of the company reached 11 vessels.

Earlier, the company had received an approval to sell vessel M. V. SSL Sagarmala before December 31, 2017. The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on August 14, 2017 had approved the same.

Shreyas Shipping & Logistics was formed primarily to own and operate vessels for feedering of containers between Indian Ports and Internationally renowned container transshipment ports.
