SCI rises on taking physical delivery of secondhand VLGC

Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) is currently trading at Rs. 93.20, up by 0.75 points or 0.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 92.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 93.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 93.95 and Rs. 93.00 respectively. So far 12,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 102.80 on 01-Sep-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 55.75 on 22-Nov-2016.

Shipping Corporation of India has taken physical delivery of a secondhand Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC) of 53,503 DWT capacity Nanda Devi (46,506 GT) on September 14, 2017.

Recently, the company had taken delivery of a second hand Multi-purpose Support Vessel (MPSV) ‘SCI Saraswati’ on July 07, 2017. The company had acquired the resale MPSV from owner Emerald Marine Global, British Virgin Islands.
