Indian Wood Products to set up katha manufacturing plant in Jammu and Kashmir

The Indian Wood Products Company has been allotted land for setting up of a Katha Manufacturing Plant in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. The Small Industrial Development Corporation (SIDCO), Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has allotted to the company 35 canals of land on lease basis for a period of 37 years. The said lease is subject to a renewal on the company’s request at an interval of every 2 years during the lease period.

Besides, the company has received in Principal approval from Power and Pollution Boards and the company is now making the payment towards Land allotment and will proceed to complete the Registration formalities. Further, the company shall commence the process of setting of Plant in a phase manner.

The Indian Wood Products Company is engaged in the manufacture of Katha, cutch, and catechins in India.
