Indian Wood Products Company gains on launching new products under Spice Segment

The Indian Wood Products Company is currently trading at Rs. 26.55, up by 0.50 points or 1.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 26.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 27.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 27.20 and Rs. 25.60 respectively. So far 3686 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 57.60 on 27-Oct-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 19.20 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 27.20 and Rs. 25.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 170.17 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.08%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.63% and 28.29% respectively.

The Indian Wood Products Company (IWP) has successfully launched new packaged food & spices in the SPICES division namely Fusili Pasta, Marconi Pasta, Ginger Garlic paste, Sabut Garam Masala, Mixed Pickle, Green Chilli and Mango Pickle in various SKU under the brand name of ' IWP ' on September 11, 2020 in the State of Uttar Pradesh, NCR and Haryana.

The new products are in addition to existing products. IWP's Spices are well accepted in the market and the company's market shares is growing steadily. With the launch of new SKU and product categories, IWP expects greater acceptance of products by the mass consumption segment customers in semi urban and rural areas.

The Indian Wood Products Company is engaged in the manufacture of Katha, cutch, and catechins in India.
