NDTV declines as NSE imposes penalty of Rs 1.88 lakh on it for delay in appointing board director

New Delhi Television is currently trading at Rs. 36.85, down by 0.25 points or 0.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 37.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 37.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 37.65 and Rs. 36.65 respectively. So far 3985 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 4 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 53.15 on 19-May-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 19.20 on 23-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 39.50 and Rs. 34.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 237.58 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.17% and 24.38% respectively.

The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has imposed a penalty of Rs 1.88 lakh on New Delhi Television (NDTV) for delay in appointing the sixth director on the board. BSE too levied a fine of Rs 1.88 lakh on the company for the same reason.

NDTV operates as a television media company in India and internationally.
