Dhanlaxmi Bank gains on getting nod to raise equity capital of up to Rs 200 crore

Dhanlaxmi Bank is currently trading at Rs. 56.30, up by 1.60 points or 2.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 54.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 55.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 56.60 and Rs. 55.50 respectively. So far 54,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 79.20 on 09-Apr-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 42.40 on 29-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 58.50 and Rs. 53.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 479 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.76% and 71.24% respectively.

Dhanlaxmi Bank has received an approval to raise equity capital not exceeding Rs 200 crore (including premium) through Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP).The board at its meeting held on October 31, 2012 has approved the same.

Dhanlaxmi Bank is an 84-year old bank with a network of over 275 branches and 460 ATMs covering 160 centers across 14 states, the bank services a broad customer base of 1.6 million. The bank provides a suite of banking products and services to its customers across Retail Banking, Wholesale Banking, Microfinance and Agricultural Lending and Small and Medium Enterprises Group.
