Karur Vysya Bank trades higher on the bourses

Karur Vysya Bank is currently trading at Rs 372.25, up by 1.30 points or 0.35% from its previous closing of Rs 370.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 369.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 373.00 and Rs 368.15 respectively. So far 1124 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 479.15 on 15-Jul-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs 346.00 on 19-Aug-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 373.95 and Rs 355.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 3977.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 3.46% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.46% and 69.08% respectively.  

Karur Vysya Bank is in process of opening one new branch at Andhra Pradesh. The bank will open the new branch on September 26, 2011 at H No.18-1634, Hanumanpet Sagar Road, Miryalaguda- 508207 Nalgonda District, Andhra Pradesh.

Recently, the bank had opened 10 new branches across pan India on September 17, 2011 taking the count of its total branches to 386.

Karur Vysya Bank is among 6 old generation private sector banks that have been identified by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to implement Speed Clearing at Mumbai.
