Karur Vysya Bank falls despites reporting 21% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Karur Vysya Bank is currently trading at Rs. 224.00, down by 3.55 points or 1.56% from its previous closing of Rs. 227.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 229.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 230.80 and Rs. 223.60 respectively. So far 54779 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 246.15 on 09-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 165.15 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 231.60 and Rs. 213.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18091.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 2.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 52.09% and 45.78% respectively.

Karur Vysya Bank has reported 20.50% rise in its net profit at Rs 496.03 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 411.63 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 18.27% at Rs 2953.44 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 2497.17 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The bank’s Gross NPA was improved to 0.83% in Q3FY25 from 1.58% in Q3FY24. The bank’s Net NPA was also improved to 0.20% in Q3FY25 from 0.42% in Q3FY24.
